I can relate to the theater scene (well, not to the lining up to use the bathroom part...^^;). Needing to pee during a movie is just the worst.

Which is why you ALWAYS go before previews, especially if you're seeing movies three hours long like Endgame, Avatar Way of Water, or Robert Pattinson's Batman.

Maybe even watch all the ads before while you're at it xD!

About the anime tho: Kaede got a good buff,animation is 60 fps,they're cuter than in manga.

Avatar actually falls short by 2 minutes of Titanic. Seen all the LotR movies when they released and drank tons of refills of massive sodas through them. Mean those movies were over 3 hours each and got longer after every release.

Mind you though The Titanic is a 3 hour and 14 minute movie so reasonably so to need to go through that length which is longer then the each of the LotR movies on their own.

Worst batman movie ever. I didn't want to see it but I gave I chance cuz my sis wanted to see it (you know why). She ended agreeing with me that it was a really bad movie, and they should have offered refunds. I didn't think I would ever dislike a batman movie besides Batman vs Superman. Well Pattinson's took the top spot for the worst one.

Doesn't matter much if you still drink water during a 3 hours movie. The trick here is to not drink water before and during the movie, i watched Avengers endgame without going to toilet once, not even feeling it after the movie. Well, just a sip should be fine

My cinema rules: No food and beverage. Empty your tanks before seated.

or during the 40 min of adds they play before they even start the previews..... or right that is why I do not pay to see movies in a theatre anymore. Not paying a premium for adds. Would not be so bad if they put it in as an intermission in hte middle of the show so people would get food or use the bathroom..... but to start playing so many adds when it is showtimes is absurd.

This rule should apply towards any event requiring an hour's worth of attention.

I always find it hilarious when I see people lining up for a three hour long movie, with the largest sodas you can buy at the place.

Mihari in swimsuit was just perfect - 10/10.

I'm sticking with the uncensored version just in case, because some of the edits in the censored version are just plain ridiculous like removal of audio, copious amounts of fog, or cuts to static shots in scenes that really didn't warrant any censoring to begin with.

Not that I was watching this show for the ecchi aspect, but the uncensored version here is basically the original, unaltered version, so I'll go with that.

Yeah, the fog in the censored version (I think it was mostly in the last episode) was absolutely ridiculous. Like you almost didn't see anything (not in the ecchi way).

Honestly, I first started watching this anime for the ecchi, but I'm staying here for the wholesome.

Just so you know I don't share the "lolis=kids" attitude as your types of people does. And I'll watch everything no censorship be it high-school DxD or To Love Ru just so I don't waste my time trying to backtrack what I didn't see or experience because it was censored.

Whereas for anime like Futoku no Guild or Isekai Meikyuu, I'll watch the OG version to see when the culture starts, for this, I'm sticking with cultured.

Some of the translation is also different. I'd suggest only watching the un-altered/uncensored versions.

I only did it for the first 2 episodes(watched both versions actually) , the censorship isn't enough to ruin the show as a whole but it does bring down the enjoyment bc the censorships feel like last minute edits. Uncensored is the best way to experience the show imo.

The fanservice does a good enough job of ruining the show on its own. The censorship at least slightly alleviates that

Because none of this is in the source material. The fanservice is distracting because it's not supposed to be there whilst on the other hand with shows like Ayakashi Triangle for example the fanservice is meant to be there so it works. OniMai's fanservice is forced into a story where it doesn't fit which takes away from the overall wholesomeness of the story.
Stuff like changing Kaede's design for no god damn reason or the deciding to frame Mahiro in a sexual manner at least once per episode do ruin the series since they completely clash with the overall tone of the story. Hell, the manga does a pretty good job at avoiding the sexualisation of children and then we have the anime flaunting Mahiro's body. I fear what they'll do with Miyo...

i am no fan of any censorship. No matter if ecchi, blood, or speech, nothing should be censored. I mean we are (mostly) old enough and when we want to see boobas, we watch them and when we want to hear someone say F**k as every 2nd word, we listen to that. No need for weird people deciding what to show and what not. It's just ridiculous to let another person decide for you.

A simple warning about explicit content, so parents can react in case children are nearby, but that should be more than enough.

also different cultures have different ideas about what "explicit content" means. for example: there's tribes of indians in the amazon who never wear clothes. they are naked from birth to death. do you think they are a bunch of pervs? of course they aren't. do you think they'd be offended by seeing naked people on tv? of course they wouldn't. personally i think those indians are far more mature than us so-called developed societies who still cringe and cry foul when we see human skin. people need to grow up and stop being so sheltered.
